Staying in a guest house in the foothills of the Bavarian National Park this 5 day workshop permits us to spend over 3 1/2 very full days in the field taking photos. With the Bohemian Forest in the Czech Republic this forms Europe’s largest unspoilt woodland. In this beautiful landscape, wildlife such as brown bear, wolf, and lynx still roam free.

Within the National Park the two large areas with specially designed wildlife enclosures allow usto capture those “once in a life time” images of some of Europe’s most endangered and enigmatic species. These enclosures are vast, the largest being tens of hectares in size and all are within the natural forest providing superb backdrops for your photographs. This approach permits the animals to live naturally, whilst still providing us with good opportunities to observe and photograph them – a true wildlife photographers dream!

There are over 30 species of mountain and forest animals to photograph within this stunning environment including mammals such as grey wolves, brown bears, lynx, wild boar, otters, European bison, wildcat, red deer, elk and birds such as capercaillie, black grouse and hazelhen and numerous birds of prey.
